However, once their service is complete, many veterans face challenges that are hard to believe—some even struggle to afford basic necessities like food. This reality is both heartbreaking and unacceptable, highlighting the need for greater support for those who have given so much to our country.

That’s where Soldiers’ Angels comes in. Soldiers’ Angels is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support the military, veterans, and their families. Among the many services they offer, one of their most impactful initiatives is a unique drive-thru food donation program that directly serves veterans who are in need of assistance. This program attracts hundreds of veterans who rely on the support to help feed themselves and their families.

The IMG Studio had the privilege of producing a video that shines a light on this essential program. We aimed to capture not only the logistics of the food drive but also the personal stories of the veterans it serves. The video profiles two veterans, each with a unique and compelling story of their service and the struggles they faced after returning to civilian life. Through their testimonials, viewers gain an understanding of the vital role Soldiers’ Angels plays in bridging the gap for veterans who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

We wanted to make sure the video was more than just a portrayal of the food drive itself; it needed to convey the profound emotional impact that this program has on the lives of veterans. By focusing on these real stories, we highlighted how Soldiers’ Angels is making a difference, helping veterans regain their sense of dignity and security.

This video was a 2023 Lone Star EMMY Award nominee, recognized for its emotional storytelling and its ability to raise awareness of a critical issue faced by veterans in the U.S. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
