Located just steps from the historic Alamo in San Antonio, Maverick Distilling is not only known for its premium spirits but also for its deep-rooted connection to one of Texas’ most iconic figures—Sam Maverick. A signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and elected mayor of San Antonio in 1839, Sam Maverick played a pivotal role in shaping the history of Texas. Today, his descendants proudly carry on his legacy by running the distillery and continuing his time-honored traditions.

Maverick Distilling offers more than just exceptional whiskey; it’s a living tribute to the rich heritage of Texas. The video we produced tells the captivating story of the Maverick family and how they’ve preserved their ancestors’ legacy, not just through leadership but also through craftsmanship. What makes Maverick Distilling even more unique is that they still use Sam Maverick’s original whiskey recipe—the same recipe that was enjoyed by the heroes of the Battle of the Alamo.
