The IMG Studio was honored to partner with the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas to create a compelling and impactful video for their fundraising efforts. The project focused on promoting “The Backyard,” an innovative outdoor space designed to provide a safe environment for girls to explore the outdoors, right in the heart of San Antonio. This one-of-a-kind space offers opportunities for camping, practicing archery, and engaging in a variety of outdoor activities, ensuring girls have a secure and inspiring place to experience nature.

Our goal with this video was to capture the essence of the Girl Scouts’ vision for The Backyard, showcasing the importance of outdoor experiences in building leadership skills, fostering teamwork, and encouraging personal growth. Through immersive visuals and heartfelt storytelling, we brought this vision to life, highlighting the excitement and joy this space would bring to young girls across the region.

From the initial concept to the final production, we collaborated closely with the Girl Scouts team to ensure the video resonated with potential donors and stakeholders. We used a combination of live-action footage, interviews, and stunning drone shots of similar outdoor spaces to visually communicate the transformative power of outdoor experiences for girls. The narrative emphasized how The Backyard would serve as a safe haven, enabling young girls to explore new challenges, build confidence, and cultivate a deep love for nature.

The video was incredibly successful, helping the Girl Scouts not only meet but exceed their fundraising goals. In fact, due to the overwhelming response from the community, The Backyard became fully funded ahead of schedule. The project’s success didn’t end there—the video received critical acclaim and was nominated for a prestigious Lone Star EMMY award, further solidifying The IMG Studio’s reputation for creating powerful, result-driven video content.
